Character Design
I've been working on a new character design this month. This is what I have so far.
The plans for this character are that I want to make daily life illustrations with her. Her story is that she is a traveling witch who discovers new worlds and meets new people during her journey. That is what I would like to illustrate. I hope to work out the rest of her story soon.
Design Work
In the last half year I have been following a design course and I am done since May. I have decided that I want to continue working in design. So now next to my illustration work, I am now also offering design work.
The adobe suite is actually really fun to work with. You can make so many amazing things. The one thing I wish is that it was cheaper. Then it would also be accessible to more people.
Fair Pricing
I also learned about fair pricing for people in the creative industry. So many people undersell themselves. I was one of those people.
Right now I am figuring out what I want to price my work. It will be a long journey and probably tough, because I'll have to find new clients who are willing to pay for fair prices. But I have hope that everything will fall into place.
